| Description | Tuesday Night Theatre is a weekly program for youth with an interest in the performing arts. Each night includes theatre games, activity and development as well as rehearsing a final production that could include acting, singing and choreography. | Description | From Nature to Abstract London, ON, March 3, 2011—Artists of the Month, is a series planned jointly by Art and Rental Sales Gallery and The Gallery Shop at Museum London. For the month of March, painters Val Slogget and Ross Bishop will be the featured Artists at the Art Rental and Sales Gallery; wood carver Earl Brown will be the featured artist for The Gallery Shop. There will be an opportunity to meet these artists at a reception on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. Val Slogget and Ross Bishop, 30 year married residents of London, both paint and exhibit their abstract paintings jointly to express their individual and undeniable relationship with the abstract and are complimentary in their goal to simply elevate abstraction. Their works are represented by the Contemporary Arts Gallery (Montreal), Waddington Gorce ( Toronto), Theilsen Gallery ( London), Gallery Modernarts ( London). Earl Brown, a prior teacher with the London/Thames Valley District School Board and self taught carver, currently generates works inspired by natural wood formations such as decoy carvings, exotic canes, walking sticks and driftwood sculptures. Recently he is turning his attention to the disappearing art of scrimshaw, applying it to vegetable ivory. Join us for the celebration and appreciation of these local London artists, works on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 2-4 pm. |

Genevieve and her 6- piece band will be performing her original singles including her hit single “Keep On” along with many other country favourites.
